Utop Boutique Hotel and Residence in Gwangju, Jeolla-do

Last year, I visited the Gwangyang Plum Festival and Yeosu and wrote about it. Jeolla-do, located in the south of Korea, is a place visited by many travelers because it has many places to visit and delicious food. Today, I will write a review of Utop Boutique Hotel located in Gwangju, Jeolla-do. A room that can sleep three people, with one double bed and one single bed.

 

 

 

 

 

The advantages of this hotel that I felt are as follows.

 

 

 

1. Reasonable price

It was a room that could sleep three people, and breakfast was free, which cost about 99,000 won. (about $76)

 

 

 

2. Free breakfast

You can taste both Western-style food, including bread, cereal, salad, and soup, and Korean-style food, including rice, four side dishes, seaweed, and soup.

 

 

 

 

You can have a simple breakfast.

4. Many convenience facilities nearby

It is well equipped with convenient facilities, including a convenience store and cafe on the first floor, a pub on the second floor, and Lotte Mart across the street.

There were also some disappointing points.

 

 

 

1. Not enough parking space

Since there is not enough parking space, passenger cars have to park mechanically. SUV vehicles can be parked in the underground parking lot.

 

 

2. Poor number of breakfast options

We think of hotel breakfasts as having many options, but this is not the case here. But it's free and there's no big problem getting breakfast.

 

 

3. Since it is a hotel in the city center, there is no swimming pool and the rooms are small.

Because it is located in the center of the city, I think it is specialized for rest and sleep.

A large Lotte Mart right across from the hotel. It is a good place for travelers to buy Korean food and souvenirs.

 

 

 

 

Overall review

If you want to enjoy a simple breakfast and rest comfortably in clean bedding while traveling in Jeolla-do, I think there is no hotel better than this. Highly recommended. Well, I hope you have a pleasant trip in Korea. :)
