On the way to Damyang Juknokwon, I decided to stop by Jeonju Hanok Village and see it. We stayed in Gwangju, and it took about an hour and a half to drive from Gwangju to Jeonju Hanok Village. Have you ever heard of a Korean food called Bibimbap? Bibimbap is one of the Korean dishes that is currently known worldwide. It is a dish made by mixing rice, eggs, and various vegetables with red pepper paste and sesame seeds. Jeonju is the home of Bibimbap. If you go to Jeonju Hanok Village, there are several bibimbap restaurants, so it would be nice to try it at least once.

If you go to Jeonju Hanok Village, you can see old Korean houses that still retain their Korean beauty. There are great photo spots in the alleys between the Hanoks, so you can take great pictures. There are also many stores that rent out Hanbok, so wearing a nice Hanbok and taking a photo with Hanoks in the background can become a great memory.

There are many stores that rent hanbok, with prices ranging from 10,000 won (about 8 USD) to 35,000 won (about 25 USD) depending on the type of clothing and rental time. Usually, when you rent clothes, they even decorate your hair in the traditional way, so it looks nice when taking pictures.

We ate Bibimbap and Tteokgalbi at a restaurant called Gyodong Tteokgalbi in Hanok Village and it was very delicious. The price was 12,000 won (about 10 USD) for bibimbam and 28,000 won (about 22 USD) for two servings of Tteokgalbi. Tteokgalbi can be ordered for 2 people or more.

If you travel to Jeolla-do, we recommend stopping by Jeonju, tasting delicious food, wearing Hanbok, taking a walk through Hanok Street, and taking great photos that will become memories of your trip to Korea. :)
