Sokcho Beach is a great place to play in the summer

In the past, foreigners who came to Korea for tourism mainly visited Seoul and the metropolitan area. However, these days, there is a tendency to travel to distant regions from the metropolitan area, such as Gangwon-do, Gyeongsang-do, and Jeolla-do. So today, I'm going to write about Sokcho Beach, which is located in Gangwon-do, where the mountains and the sea are wonderful.

 

 

 

 

You can walk from Sokcho Bus Terminal to Sokcho Beach.

 

 

 

1. Sokcho Beach Location: Joyang-dong, Sokcho-si, Gangwon-do

 

 

 

2. How to get there: It is most convenient to use your own car, and if you use an express bus, you can get off at the Sokcho Express Bus Terminal and walk there.

 

 

3. Sokcho Beach price: Admission to the beach is free, but parasols that shade the sun are charged as below;

 

Parasol 10,000 won

Tube for adults 10,000 won

Children's tube 5,000 won

Life jacket for adults 10,000 won

Children's life jacket 5,000 won

Recently, overcharging for tourist attractions has become an issue in Korea, but it was nice to see that Sokcho Beach operates as a fixed-price system at a reasonable price.

 

 

 

 

Looking at the cool waves makes you forget the heat for a while.

 

 

 

The water of the East Sea is so clear and clean that it can be said to be superior to any sea in other countries. On a sunny day, you can enjoy the emerald-colored sea, and because it is located in the east, you can meet a wonderful sunrise in the morning. If you have a schedule, I recommend you to see the East Sea at least once. :)
