The Blue House Korea - Cheong Wa Dae

The Blue House(Cheong Wa Dae) is a space that was used as the office and residence of the Korean President. As the current president, Yoon Seok-ryeol, moved his office to Yongsan, the Blue House was opened to the general public. I'm going to write about the The Blue House reviews that many people are looking for.

1. Reservation

 

You can make a reservation on the Blue House website. For foreigners, on-site registration is also possible.

(Up to 2,000 people aged 65 or older, persons of national merit, persons with disabilities, and foreigners on a first-come, first-served basis)

 

 

 

 

The road to the Blue House along the Gyeongbokgung Palace stone wall road. There were many police officers when it was used as the office of the president, but now it feels like a secluded promenade.

 

 

 

2. How to get there

 

Line 3 Gyeongbokgung Station Exit 4 or Anguk Station Exit 1 and walk along the stone wall next to Gyeongbokgung Palace. Directions to each subway station are well marked, so all you have to do is follow them.

Chungmu Room is a space where letters of appointment are given to many people or meetings are held. BTS also received a letter of appointment as a special envoy here.

 

 

 

 

Portraits of past presidents are hung in the Sejong Room, where the cabinet meeting was held.

When the Blue House was opened to the public, it was so popular that reservations were difficult. It is a place well worth a visit, so be sure to visit it. :)
